English Wedding Invitation Templates

English wedding invitations for Indian couples, destination weddings and guests who don’t read Tamil. Pick a floral, minimal, royal or mandala design, replace the sample names, date and venue, drag any line where you want it, and download the card free.

Classic English wedding invitation wording

Start with who is inviting. ‘Together with their families’ works when the couple are sending the card themselves; when parents host, the usual line is ‘Mr. & Mrs. Ramesh request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their daughter’.

Then the couple’s first names, large, and the date. You can write it out in full or keep it short (‘Saturday · 13 February 2027’). Even on an English wedding invitation sent to Indian guests, it helps to give the muhurtham time rather than just ‘morning’, followed by the venue with the area and city.

Finish with one practical line: ‘Lunch to follow’, ‘Reception at 7 PM’ or an RSVP number. Much more than that and the card starts to look crowded.

English Wedding Invitation – FAQ

Can I change the fonts and colours?

Click any line to change its font, size, colour, alignment and letter spacing. The Colours tab recolours the background and the ornaments together, so you can match the card to the hall décor or the bride’s saree.

Can I add more lines of text?

Use ‘Add text’ for things like a dress code, a wedding hashtag or a live-stream link, then drag the new line into place on the card.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The editor runs in your browser without an account, and your design is saved on your own device, so you can close the tab and come back to it later.
