Baptism & First Holy Communion Invitation Templates

Make a baptism invitation for your child’s baptism, christening or First Holy Communion. Pick a soft design, add the church, date and time, and download a free PDF. Tamil templates use ஞானஸ்நான விழா wording.

Baptism invitation wording

Lead with the sacrament (Baptism, Christening or First Holy Communion) and the child’s full name, including the baptismal name if it is different from the one used at home.

Give the church, the date and the Mass or service time. If the godparents are close family, many people print their names on the baptism invitation too. Mention the lunch or reception afterwards and where it is, especially if it isn’t in the parish hall.

A short verse such as Matthew 19:14 fits well, and every template has one you can change. In Tamil, Catholic families usually call the First Holy Communion புதுநன்மை, and baptism is ஞானஸ்நானம் or திருமுழுக்கு; use whichever word your church uses.
