Put the business name in the biggest type, then the date and the time of the inauguration or ribbon cutting. Most owners do a Ganapathi or Lakshmi pooja first thing in the morning and fix the opening time outside Rahu kalam.

Give the full address with a landmark (‘near the bus stand’, ‘opposite the Indian Bank’) and add a map QR code so customers can find you. Opening-day offers or a line about refreshments are worth adding.

A Tamil shop opening invitation often starts with ‘ஸ்ரீ மகாலட்சுமி துணை’ or ‘உ’. If a well-known person is cutting the ribbon or lighting the lamp, name them, and end with the owner and family.
